We're excited to announce that Bible Chat is becoming CrossTalk! Over the years, we've grown far beyond simple chat. Today, we offer a full Bible experience with reading plans, an interactive prayer wall where believers share faith and blessings, and an AI-powered chat to help deepen your understanding of Scripture. Now, you can also follow other users, forming the seeds of a vibrant Christian social network built on prayer, gratitude, and shared faith.

Why Are We Changing Our Name?

1. We're More Than "Chat." As we evolve into a truly social space for Christians—combining prayer, community, reading plans, and AI insights—our new name should reflect the fullness of our vision.
   
2. We Believe in Doing the Right Thing. Unfortunately, several other apps using "Bible Chat" have resorted to questionable practices, such as charging users without consent. We will never do that. We're "turning the other cheek," as Jesus taught, and distancing ourselves from any negative associations. We remain a free app, sustained by the generosity of our sponsors, so people around the world can access our tools without burden.
   

Why "CrossTalk"?

• Cross: It's the heart of our faith—Jesus died on the cross for our sins. The cross also symbolizes an exchange or sharing, which is what our community is all about.
  
• Talk: You can chat with our AI and connect with fellow believers. You can even talk aloud to the app if you prefer speaking over typing.
  

CrossTalk perfectly captures our mission: a platform where Christians can grow in faith, study the Bible, support one another through conversation and prayer, and now connect via follows for meaningful, ongoing fellowship.
